I believe in the capacity of design/research to transform our current realities by imagining radical futures and enacting change.

My expertise spans from early conceptual design to RIBA Stage 5, focusing on Public Realm and Landscape projects, Framework Planning, Community Engagements, and Public-use Buildings.

My research examines ways to create new spatial and temporal relationships between people, ecologies, and cultures. By using archives, fiction, film, and fieldwork as design and inquiry tools, my research practice incites provocations to the status quo through the creation of alternative narratives alongside communities, practitioners, and activists to act and demand change on those interrogations.

Through constantly exchanging ideas and a continual assessment of forms and materialities, I approach teaching design studios and representation seminars to amplify diverse voices and test the implementation of research concepts in situated contexts.

CV

II am currently collaborating as a landscape architect at BBUK studio in London, working on various residential and public realm projects in the UK. Parallel to my professional practice, I am a visiting tutor in the Master of Landscape Architecture at the University of Greenwich, teaching design studios concerned with creating transgressive visions that activate collective imaginaries to respond to the demands of climate change.

I graduated with distinction from the Harvard Graduate School of Design with a Master of Landscape Architecture (2023). I was awarded the Landscape Architecture Thesis Prize and the American Society of Landscape Architects Honor Award. I also hold a Master in Situated Practice from the Bartlett School of Architecture (2021), where I was awarded the Bartlett Medal and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture with high honours from the University of Virginia (2014), where I was awarded the Design Excellence Award and the Sean Steele Nicholson Award. Over the years, I have worked in multiple architecture and landscape architecture practices in New York, Bogotá, Paris and London.
